Gary Neville has issued a rallying cry to his team-mates by insisting their reputations are on the line after a shock defeat at Norwich. Neville told MUTV: "Our reputations are at stake and we have a responsibility to Manchester United in terms of putting in a performance.
"Our performance levels over the last few weeks have not been good enough.
"We have to get ourselves together, if we don't we have a manager who will do something about it."
Sir Alex's Ferguson's decision to rest key players backfired as the Premiership's bottom club produced a spirited performance.
Despite resting Roy Keane, and putting Wayne Rooney, Ruud van Nistelroy and Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench, United were still able to call on internationals, such as Kleberson and Alan Smith.
The defeat leaves United three points behind Arsenal in the race for second place and automatic entry into next season's Champions League. Like the Gunners, the FA Cup is the only piece of silverware on offer to United.
Neville said: "We all have to take a good look at ourselves. If any player is not doing that, something is wrong.
"The semi-final against Newcastle is a massive match for this club.
"But we have to perform over the next six league games as well, we need to play well in every match."
