Sir Alex Ferguson claims Premiership leaders Chelsea will never be a bigger club than Manchester United. Chelsea hold an 11-point lead in the title race and are also in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
But Ferguson said: "Chelsea played Barcelona, but all the attention was on our game with AC Milan."
He insisted: "We are global with millions of fans all over the world in Europe, America and Asia. Manchester United is more than football."
Chelsea, under coach Jose Mourinho, are having an outstanding season, having already claimed the Carling Cup with victory against Liverpool.
