Manchester United midfielder Kleberson has completed his 2.5m move to Turkish club Besiktas. The 26-year-old Brazilian signed a three-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.
"I have come from one big club to another so I am very happy," Kleberson told reporters at a signing ceremony.
Kleberson joined United for 6.5m after winning the World Cup with Brazil in 2002 but he made only 28 appearances in an injury-hit spell at Old Trafford.
He dislocated his shoulder in only his second start for United and was never more than a fringe player after that.
At Istanbul airport, he said: "I'm very happy to be here.
"I had no problem accepting the offer but my wife had to be persuaded.
"She agreed to come to Istanbul and take a look last week and, after that, she was convinced."
He said he was keen to join Besiktas after speaking to fellow Brazilian Ailton, who moved there from Stuttgart in July.
"I have never been welcomed so magnificently," he told the club's official website.
"My first goal is to prove my ability to the coach, make the team and become useful to the team.
"Ailton told us good things about Besiktas and Istanbul. It is wonderful to be here."
