Trabelsi has been strongly linked with United |
Manchester United's hopes of signing Ajax defender Hatem Trabelsi could suffer a hitch in the next 48 hours. Ajax coach Ronald Koeman is likely to use the highly-rated full-back in the Dutch side's Champions League third qualifying round first leg match against Austrian side Grazer AK on Tuesday.
If the Tunisian international plays, it would cup-tie him for the rest of the tournament and make United unlikely to follow up their interest.
"If Trabelsi plays against Grazer AK the stream of rumours will stop definitively," Koeman said.
The former Dutch international also hit out at Trabelsi's agent, Frank Sedoc, who Koeman believes has been touting his client around the Premiership.
"That man has raced through the whole of England but up until now he could not find a club for his pupil," he said.
"Again it is proof that players can't go to another club easily any more."
