Manchester City have cut ticket prices for the home leg of the Uefa Cup quarter-final with Hamburg on 16 April.
City have averaged 43,000 in the Premier League this season but have failed to attract more than 26,000 during their European campaign.
Tickets will be £5 if bought within five days of going on sale on Wednesday and children can watch for £1.
"These prices are our way of saying thank you to all our supporters," said executive chairman Garry Cook.
"It's been a long time since we were in a position to perhaps win silverware and we want to make this game accessible to all."
