A former Manchester City youth player from the Faroe Islands has ruled out any chance of an upset in Thursday's Uefa Cup clash against EB Streymur.
Christian Mortensen spent three seasons with the Premier League outfit after moving from the North Atlantic islands.
He told BBC Radio Manchester the Blues have little to fear from his fellow countrymen in the qualifying round tie.
"They play a very slow game. No Faroe Islands team will surprise any more," said Mortensen.
"They play a very open game, not tactically good. I think it's going to be a slow game and City are going to be much better.
"I don't think the Faroe Islands team will do anything because they don't have enough good players to show it on the pitch, so I don't think there is any chance of an upset."
