Johnson has not figured for Man City since 5 November |
Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson hopes to have midfielder Michael Johnson back within two weeks. The 18-year-old has been out for a month after suffering a recurrence of the abdominal problem which forced him to have surgery in November.
"Michael has started running outside again, so hopefully, he will be ready in a couple of weeks," said Eriksson.
"Of course, it was a concern because he was operated on and then three games later, the injury came back."

The Swede added: "The situation looks better than it did one or two weeks ago but we expect him to be fine soon."
Johnson is expected to be the only injury absentee for City's trip to Everton on Saturday.
