Sinclair is eager to extend his stay at Eastlands |
Manchester City winger Trevor Sinclair has set his sights on winning a new contract at the club. The 33-year-old's deal ends in the summer but he hopes his performances between now and then will persuade boss Stuart Pearce to keep him.
Sinclair, who has struggled with a knee injury this term, said: "I need to show some good form between now and the end of the season.
"Perhaps then I can twist the manager's arm to keep me on."
Sinclair made his comeback from injury in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup.
It was his first appearance since the 0-0 draw with Newcastle on 11 November.
