Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha has been ruled out for the rest of season with a knee ligament injury. The England Under-21 international picked up the problem in training and scans revealed damage to the 19-year-old's ligaments.
City manager Stuart Pearce said: "I am disappointed for Onuoha. He is a smashing young lad, with a great future ahead of him.
"But he is of an age where he will get over it and come back stronger."
