Keegan seems set to capture Evans |
Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan appears to have won the race to sign Welsh wonderkid Scott Evans. The 15-year-old Swansea starlet has yet to make an appearance for the Third Divison club, but has been tracked by Liverpool and Manchester United.
Keegan has invited the left-sided midfielder for a two-day trial.
"His family have made it known if City are interested in taking him, they would be interested in Scott going," said Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins.
He added: "Scott is contracted to us. We could force him to stay until he is 17, but I don't think that's the way to do things."
