Macclesfield Town have completed the signing of defender Rikki Bains for the remainder of the season.
The 20-year-old has been training at the the club in recent weeks and goes straight in to the squad for Saturday's game at Rotherham.
The former Accrington man had been playing for Corby Town this season.
Silkmen boss Keith Alexander told BBC Radio Manchester: "I am pleased to finally get Rikki to the club. He's a young lad, one for the future."
Alexander is now hoping the former Coventry trainee, who turns 21 next week, can take his chance and prove deserving of a longer deal.
He said: "He has an opportunity over the next few months to prove us that he is deserving of a longer deal."
Bains - who has also played for Leek, Tamworth and King's Lynn - has been awarded the squad number 20.
