The 21-year-old arrived at Moss Rose earlier this month and has impressed in his three games alongside Silkmen captain Terry Dunfield.

Macclesfield manager Ian Brightwell told his club's website: "I'm pleased we have managed to get James for the rest of the season.

"He's slotted in very well and I've got high hopes for him."
