Macclesfield Town have signed Sheffield United defender Ryan Cresswell on loan for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old centre-back is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Blades but has had loan spells with Rotherham, Morecambe and Halifax Town.
Macc have also extended the loan spell of Chester City defender Sean Hessey, 29, for the remainder of the season.
Shrewsbury striker Michael Symes, 24, and defender Neil Ashton, 22, are expected to sign on loan this week.
The pair are both already training with Macclesfield.
