Macclesfield boss Ian Brightwell has made Chester City defender Sean Hessey his second loan signing of the week. Hessey, out of favour at Chester this season, has agreed a two-month deal and follows former Blackpool team-mate Phil Doughty in joining the Silkmen.
The 29-year-old has been given permission to make his Town debut in their FA Cup tie against Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday.
"He trained with us for a week early on in the season," said Brightwell.
"So he's no stranger to the lads and I?m sure he did very well."
