Macclesfield have given a first professional contract to teenage striker Nick Blackman. He has signed a deal which runs until the end of next season.
Blackman, 17, joined the Silkmen last summer on a two-year apprenticeship after spells in the academies with Manchester United, Preston and Bury.
Youth team boss John Askey told the club's website: "Nick deserves his first contract as he has worked really well since joining us."
