![]() | Saturday, 15 July, 2000, 11:51 GMT Stein signs for Luton ![]() Mark Stein (right) has chosen Luton Town Luton Town have confirmed the signing of striker Mark Stein on a free transfer from Bournemouth. Stein was a team-mate of the new Hatters manager Ricky Hill at Kenilworth Road back in the 1980s. He returns to Luton after spells at a number of clubs including Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers. A number of clubs were interested in signing Stein, but in the end he opted for a return to Kenilworth Road. Hill told BBC Three Counties Radio he is delighted to have signed Stein.
