Defender Jake Howells has signed his first professional contract with relegated League Two side Luton Town.
The 18-year-old joined the Hatters as a trainee in July 2007 and made his first team debut against Huddersfield Town on the final day of the 2007/08 season.
Howells made 36 appearances last season and picked up Luton's Young Player of the Year award.
He also earned a Johnstone's Paint Trophy winners medal despite not being included in the 16-man final squad.
