Pair step down from Luton board
John Mitchell and Richard Bagehot have agreed to step down from the Luton Town board after being charged by the Football Association last week.

They were both charged with allegedly failing to report breaches of regulations regarding payments to agents when they became aware of them.

Chairman David Pinkney told Luton's website: "I would applaud their hard work and past commitment to the club.

"I will miss their energy and enthusiasm," he added.

The League One club have also reiterated that a further statement in relation to the FA charges will be "forthcoming in due course."
