![]() | Thursday, 2 August, 2001, 16:37 GMT 17:37 UK Luton await Wimbledon decision ![]() Luton are planning to leave Kenilworth Road Luton Town could be moved to complain to the Football League if Wimbledon are given permission to relocate to Milton Keynes. The Hatters insist their own bid to move to the Buckinghamshire newtown was blocked last year. A Luton spokesman said: "It will be interesting to see whether Wimbledon get permission to move.
"Our chairman is going ahead with our own plans to move, but we are being held up by red tape." The Football League has told Wimbledon that their plans to move from the capital would be investigated before a final decision was made.
