Livingston captain James McPake has agreed to join Championship side Coventry City next summer.
The 23-year-old defender has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Midlands club.
Coventry could even sign McPake in the upcoming January transfer window if they are willing to pay a fee.
"James is an accomplished player who has proven himself at club level," manager Chris Coleman told Coventry's official website.
"He has just the qualities we are looking for and we are delighted he has chosen us despite considerable interest from other clubs."
McPake, who has been at Almondvale since 2000, was linked with a summer move to St Mirren.
And Livingston confirmed that they had turned down bids for McPake before the close of the transfer window in September.
