Snodgrass has scored four goals this season |
Livingston manager John Robertson has warned striker Robert Snodgrass to improve his attitude - or leave the West Lothian club. The 18-year-old has threatened to take the SPL by storm on a number of occasions after some fine goals.
However, the teenager has failed to deliver consistent performances for his First Division-bound team this season.
Robertson said: "He's gone back the way because he's let things go to his head. We will get that knocked out of him."
The Livi boss was again left frustrated with Snodgrass after the recent defeat by Motherwell and he insists his patience is running out.
He said: "We saw flashes of brilliance, but Robert has to understand he is not the player he was two seasons ago.
"He will come back after the summer and do it my way or he will not be here - it's as simple as that."
Snodgrass is not alone in Robertson's ire after poor displays against Inverness and Motherwell in their last two outings.
The former Hearts and Inverness boss is demanding a major improvement as Livi bid farewell to the top flight at Falkirk.
"Falkirk are safe and I just don't want to sit through what I saw on Saturday and again on Wednesday evening," he added.
Meanwhile, Livingston owner Pearse Flynn has commended the supporters for standing by the relegated Almondvale club.
He told www.livingstonfc.co.uk: "It means a great deal to the club that so many fans turned up to get season tickets.
"I would urge the remainder to get theirs before the end of May so we can give John Robertson the budget he requires for next season."
