Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel back in full training
Liverpool have endured a difficult season with injuries and poor results
Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel returned to full training on Wednesday after 10 weeks out of action with a broken metatarsal in his right foot.
The 25-year-old Slovakia international, who joined Liverpool in 2008, suffered the injury in the 3-1 Europa League win over Unirea Urziceni on 25 February.
Skrtel is now hopeful that he will be fit for his country's World Cup campaign in South Africa this summer.
Slovakia begin their first World Cup against New Zealand on 15 June.
Holders Italy and Paraguay are the other two teams in Group F.
Srktel, who arrived at Anfield from Zenit St Petersburg in January 2008, had appeared in 19 of Liverpool's 27 Premier League matches before his injury.
He was initially expected to be out for eight weeks but only after a precautionary scan in April was he cleared to rejoin the Reds' training sessions.
Liverpool's final game of the season is away to Hull on Sunday.
