Liverpool have completed the signing of teenage goalkeeper David Martin for an undisclosed fee from MK Dons. Martin, the 19-year-old son of former West Ham defender Alvin Martin, spent four days on trial at Liverpool before Christmas, playing in one reserve game.
Reds boss Rafael Benitez was impressed enough to offer him a permanent deal.
"David has earned a wonderful move to Liverpool and it was impossible to stand in his way," Dons manager Danny Wilson told his club's website.

"It's a tremendous testament to the boy himself and the coaching staff, and it will be very interesting to see how he does at Anfield." Martin signed a contract with the European champions on Thursday after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms on Merseyside the previous day.
"I'm really looking forward to it," said Martin.
"It might take a couple of months for me to actually realise what I've achieved in signing for Liverpool."
Martin joins fellow goalkeepers Jerzy Dudek, Scott Carson and Jose Reina at the club.
Another Liverpool keeper, Chris Kirkland, is currently on loan at West Brom.
