Liverpool striker Fernando Morientes insists he is not thinking of leaving the club despite enduring a troubled time since joining the Anfield side. Morientes, 29, signed for 6.3m from Real Madrid in January 2005 but has struggled for goals having scored just six goals in 29 outings.
He has been linked with a move back to Spain in a possible swap deal.
But he told the Sunday Mirror: "I'm delighted to be here and I am not planning to go anywhere."
He added: "My long-term plan is to stay in England another three years.
"That was my intention when I came and I don't tend to quit places without completing the task."
