Lincoln City have extended the loan of Notts County defender Stephen Hunt by a further month until 19 March.

Hunt, 26, played seven times for the Imps in his initial month-long loan from the Magpies, scoring once.

He told BBC Lincolnshire: "Playing games is the reason I came here. I don't want to look back at the season and think I've not played enough.

"If you're training but there's nothing at the end of it, it's frustrating, so to come here has been perfect for me."

Hunt was a regular in Notts County's League Two title-winning side last season, but has played only four times in League One this season, plus an additional five appearances in cup matches.
