Onuora is in charge of the first team in Jackson's enforced absence (PA) |
Lincoln City assistant manager Iffy Onuora says he has been keeping boss Peter Jackson up to date with what is going on at the club. Jackson is away from Sincil Bank getting treatment for throat cancer and Onuora says Tuesday's 1-0 derby win at Notts County was a big boost for him.
"We've still got him more than in the back of our minds," Onuora said.
"It's a big fillip for him - every result like this gives him a boost," he told BBC Radio Lincolnshire.
He added: "We're edging to where we want to be which is in the top half of the table and we will push on from there."
