Birmingham City's Mathew Birley has joined Lincoln City on a loan deal that will run until 6 January 2007. Birley, 20, becomes the Imps' second loan signing of the day, alongside Shane Nicholson.
The attacking midfielder was given a one-year contract at Birmingham in 2005, which was subsequently extended by a further 12 months last summer.
He made his full debut in the 2-1 FA Cup win over Reading in February 2006 but has yet to feature this season.
