Lewes manager Kevin Keehan has apologised to the club's fans after Tuesday's FA Cup defeat by Leiston.
The Rooks lost 3-1 at home to the Suffolk club, who are the lowest-ranked team left in the competition.
Keehan told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "We are doing our best but it was not good enough."
"We should have won and brought much-needed revenue in. There is a lot of pressure at the club to bring money in," he added.
The club say they will hold an "emergency" board meeting next week following the defeat.
