Kermorgant (right) in action for Reims against Strasbourg last season

Leicester City striker Yann Kermorgant has signed a new deal which will keep him at the club until summer 2012.

The Frenchman, aged 28, has made five starts for the Foxes, coming off the bench on three occasions, but is yet to score for the club.

Manager Nigel Pearson told the club website: "I'm sure the fans will see a lot more from him.

"We hold in him high regard at the club, so it's a delight to prolong his involvement at the Walkers."

Kermorgant was a free agent after leaving French side Stade Reims at the end of last season.
