Leicester City defender Chris Powell has signed a new deal keeping him with the Foxes until the end of the season.
The 39-year-old former England defender has made 17 appearances since joining the Foxes as a free agent in August.
Leicester manager Nigel Pearson told the club website: "Chris is a very experienced older head and he has been a real asset to us.
"He complements our young back line very well and I am delighted that he has agreed to extend his contract."
Powell, a former England left-back, began his career at Crystal Palace before having spells at Southend, Derby and Charlton.
