Holloway knows results have not been good enough (Getty Images) |
Leicester City boss Ian Holloway says he understands why supporters have turned on him in recent weeks. The Foxes are in the Championship drop zone with just eight games to go and face high-flying West Brom on Saturday.
But Holloway told BBC Radio Leicester he would much rather take the flak than the players: "Let's gang up on Ollie and have a bit of a go is it?
"Well that's fair enough because I'm paid to sort this out and get results and I haven't been getting them."
Holloway added: "I think we've had some performances and what we need to do is encourage these lads and get them going again.
"I believe other people have had a run and it's going to be our time.
"We need to continue to be brave and keep believing."
