Leicester have completed the signing of former Ajax and Anderlecht midfielder Sergio Hellings. The 22-year-old came through the youth system at Ajax and went on to represent Holland at all levels up to under-20.
He left Ajax to join Anderlecht in October 2002 and has attracted the attention of Middlesbrough.
Leicester boss Martin Allen had told the club website: "Sergio is a player with huge potential and I am delighted that he is going to sign for us."
