Leicester have signed former West Ham winger Shaun Newton on a one-year deal. The 31-year-old spent two months on loan at the Walkers Stadium last season and has beeen snapped up by the Foxes after being released by the Hammers.
Newton started his career at Charlton, before joining Wolves in 2001 for �850,000 and staying there until 2005, when he made the move to Upton Park.
He becomes new City manager Martin Allen's 10th signing of the summer.
"I think he will do a good job for us," Allen said.
"I watched a video of his game against Birmingham here last season and that is what I want on a regular basis."
