Leicester midefielder James Wesolowski faces two weeks on the sidelines after a scan confirmed he has a thigh strain. Wesoloski, who has suffered two broken legs in the last two years, limped out of Leicester's pre-season friendly at Boston on Wednesday after 30 minutes.
But Foxes' boss Rob Kelly is confident the 18-year-old Australian will be fit for the Championship kick-off.
Kelly told Foxes website: "It's a small strain and we're hopeful he's not going to be out for a great length of time."
