Kelly has transformed Leicester since taking charge in late January |
Leicester City caretaker boss Rob Kelly has been named Championship manager of the month for March. Kelly steered the Foxes to three wins and a draw during the month.
"This award is recognition for everyone at the club and great credit goes to the players for not taking a backward step and being resilient," he said.
"We are in a difficult situation and the results have put us back on the right track and we should now get away from danger."
Kelly took over at Leicester after Craig Levein's tenure as manager ended on 25 January.
The other contenders for the managerial award were Derby's Terry Westley, Millwall boss David Tuttle, and Paul Sturrock of Sheffield Wednesday.
