Leicester City have been approached by fellow Championship side Sunderland regarding their defender Alan Maybury. The 28-year-old joined the Foxes for an undisclosed fee from Hearts in January 2005 and has been a regular in the first-team since arriving.
"I have been informed by chief executive Tim Davies we had received an approach from Sunderland," Foxes boss Rob Kelly told the club website.
"Tim is currently speaking to Sunderland on that matter."
