Leeds United players drop charges against Carlisle fans
Snodgrass and two other Leeds players were claimed to have been hit
Three Leeds players who were claimed to have been attacked by fans after the side's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat by Carlisle will not press charges.
Leeds claimed Robert Snodgrass, Shane Lowry and another player were pushed by Carlisle fans, who flooded onto Brunton Park after a 6-5 penalty shootout win.
However United have asked the Football Association and Football League to consider sanctions against Carlisle.
Video evidence of the events has been forwarded as part of the case.
A statement on the club website said: "The club is to forward the evidence at its disposal to both the Football Association and the Football League in relation to the matter so they can consider what action, if any, is required."
"Further to the pitch invasion at the end of the penalty shoot-out at Carlisle on Tuesday, the Leeds United players involved are not going to ask for charges to be brought against the Carlisle supporters involved."
Carlisle, who forced the shootout after losing 3-2 in the second-leg of the JPT semi-final, now face Southampton in the final at Wembley.
