Leeds United will face Championship outfit Newcastle United at St James's Park on Wednesday, 29 July at 1945 BST.
The game will be Leeds' third high-profile friendly, with the club also playing Premier League sides Burnley and Blackburn Rovers.
Leeds manager Simon Grayson told the club website: "It should be a great game for both sides.
"Newcastle are preparing for what they hope will be a promotion-winning season and we are doing likewise."
