Simon Grayson was appointed Leeds manager in December
Leeds United manager Simon Grayson has vowed to keep hold of the club's best young talent, despite his side missing out on promotion to the Championship.
Grayson's side were beaten by Millwall in their League One play-off semi-final, losing 2-1 on aggregate.
Striker Jermaine Beckford and young midfielder Fabian Delph are now thought to be targets for Premier League clubs.
"There is a lot of hype about players leaving but I know the chairman is reluctant to allow that," Grayson said.
"I'll sit down with the chairman soon, but we've already drawn up some plans over the past couple of weeks for next season.
"We've got a group of players who are very young but who have already achieved a lot.
"Those young players will feel the benefit of reaching the play-offs. They want to be part of this football club and they want to help this club win promotion next season.
"The majority of the squad are under contract, only three aren't and we don't need to sell any players unless we get ridiculous offers."
Grayson, who was appointed Leeds manager in December, says missing out on promotion has spurred him on to go one better next season and fulfil the club's ambitions.
He said: "I can cope with the expectation levels.
"It is this type of expectancy that I came to Leeds for. I'm a better person, a better manager and I've learned a lot.
"I'll use this experience to galvanise the players in July."
