Leeds United have signed striker Luciano Becchio on a permanent deal.
The 24-year-old scored 28 goals in 50 games for Merida in Spain's third tier last season and has signed a three-year deal after a trial at Elland Road.
The Argentine began his career at Boca Juniors and has also spent time at Barcelona and Mallorca.
"We were very keen to get him and he'll be a real threat for us. He's got a good instinct," manager Gary McAllister told the club's website.
Meanwhile, the number 15 shirt has returned for Leeds United's new season.
The number was 'retired' last season due to the club's 15 point deduction. However Fabian Delph will don the number for the new campaign.
Becchio will wear 10, while fellow new boys Andy Robinson has taken 18, Robert Snodgrass is given 23 and Enoch Showunmmi has gained 21.
