Former Hull chairman Adam Pearson insists he is not poised to launch a takeover bid for Leeds. Pearson has relinquished his position at the Tigers after selling the club to a consortium fronted by Paull Duffen for �10m.
The former Leeds commercial director said: "To be honest, I think we can put
this to bed.
"But, as for the long term, I certainly wouldn't rule out going into another
club. It's an industry I really enjoy."
Pearson led City from the brink of financial collapse to the Championship following successive promotions during his six years at the helm and oversaw the club's switch to the KC Stadium.
Leeds chairman Ken Bates, currently waiting for his buy-back deal to be ratified by administrators and the Football League, is hoping to attract new investors to Elland Road.
