Leeds United insist that Elland Road's future is safe, despite the ground being sold for a second time. It has emerged that Elland Road was sold by previous owner, businessman Jacob Adler, to British Virgin Islands based Teak Trading Corporation.
But Leeds chief executive Shaun Harvey said: "The change in ownership has had no material effect on us.
"It makes no difference that the company who now own Elland Road is based in the British Virgin Islands."
Harvey pointed out that the change in ownership actually took place more than 15 months ago.

The financially stricken club's previous board sold the ground to Manchester-based Adler in November 2004.
Adler in turn sold the ground to the Teak Trading Corporation, but Harvey insists the football club still has the right to buy the ground back when they are able to.
Harvey said: "We still have the same lease as originally entered into, albeit with a different company.
"More importantly, the buy-back provision has also been transferred.
"The ownership of the stadium is noted at the Land Registry and has been on the public record for a significant period of time."
