Ian Harte played for Leeds reserves against Harrogate Town |
Republic of Ireland defender Ian Harte could be the next player to leave Leeds United after being linked with a move to Portsmouth.
The left-back is thought to be out of favour at Elland Road and was relegated to the Leeds reserve side which played a friendly against Harrogate Town on Tuesday night.
Redknapp is in the market for a player in Harte's position as he is without the services of Matthew Taylor.
Pompey have been linked with a move for Argentine defender Juan Pablo Sorin but Redknapp admitted he is also interested in Harte.
"I do like Ian Harte but at the moment I do not know if anything is going to happen there," Redknapp told the Yorkshire Post newspaper.
"I am looking around at the moment for a left-back and seeing what comes up."
Leeds boss Peter Reid is keen to raise funds to make his own moves in the transfer market.
