Guillaume Beuzelin set to clinch Kilmarnock contract

Beuzelin had a spell at Hamilton before joining Olympiakos Nicosia
Former Hibernian midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin has agreed a move to Kilmarnock, subject to a medical.
The 31-year-old Frenchman, who was on Hamilton Accies' books for a spell last season, will sign a one-year deal, with the option of an additional year.
"It is subject to a medical and he should be okay because he's been training with us," manager Mixu Paatelainen told BBC Scotland
"I can't see why he couldn't play two seasons for Kilmarnock."
Paatelainen has several players on trial as he looks to further bolster his squad ahead of the new season, which will be his first in charge of the Rugby Park outfit.
"As soon as we're convinced that the player who is on trial would enhance our team, we would enter negotiations and hopefully come to agreement," he said.
"There are players training with us that we like and hopefully we can make some announcements before too late.
"I do want to bring in players, there is scope to do that. We just have to wait and see."
Hopefully we will be safe from a relegation battle and we can look forward to climbing that table

With Kevin Kyle, Allan Russell and David Fernandez having departed, the Ayrshire side are short of attacking options and youngster Daniel McKay has been training with the first team during pre-season.
"It is my biggest priority, it is an area we must improve," Paatelainen said.
"Last season the team didn't score enough goals for my liking. The players who are still here can score more. We have addressed that already in training and hopefully this season one or two players will score more goals than last season.
"If we can add one or two offensive players in the squad who will chip in to the goal tally then hopefully we'll be better off.
"Danny's a goalscorer. He went on loan to Ayr United last season and did really well. He scored a few goals there with limited starting places. He's a player who has a good eye for the goal.
"We're working on his fitness level at the moment. I believe if he gets a little bit fitter, leaner, quicker and sharper, he will score even more goals.
"He is a bright prospect. Other players can feed off him as well but he is mostly a penalty box finisher, a poacher."
Paatelainen was appointed Killie manager in June
Kilmarnock will head south for some friendly matches against English sides before hosting Valladolid in preparation for their Scottish Premier League opener against champions Rangers.
"I don't know what happened before but after testing the players, I realised that the fitness level wasn't as high as I expected," Paatelainen said.
"It was understandable, there was no management team in place.
"So far the players have been fantastic. From day one, their attitude has been first class. Every morning I wake up, I look forward to working with these players because they are such an honest bunch of players, a pleasure to work with.
"We've got matches lined up, some of them closed doors, some of them not. It's been quite difficult to arrange these matches because I came into the job pretty late and the clubs were all mostly fixed up with their pre-season programme and matches.
"We've managed now to get seven matches in altogether and the possibility of an eighth one. That is enough to get everybody match fit and match sharp.
"Our first target is to stay in the Premier League. Eventually, I would like to see Kilmarnock in the top six. Whether it happens this season or next season or the year after that, that's what we're working for and towards.
"Hopefully we will be safe from a relegation battle and we can look forward to climbing that table."
Meanwhile, the Killie boss says he wants to retain midfielder Craig Bryson, who has been linked with a move to Hearts.
"There hasn't been any development there, thankfully, because I want to keep him," he added.
"He's a fantastic midfield player and I'm hoping that he has a really good season for Kilmarnock."
