Chairman Johnston is in sole control of Kilmarnock Football Club
Worried Kilmarnock fans have launched a new action group urging chairman Michael Johnston to make changes amid fears of relegation from the SPL.
Kilmarnock Fans For Change have been backed by all current supporters' organisations and have called an open meeting in the town on Thursday.
Former Kilmarnock striker Blair Millar is on the 20-strong KFFC working group.
"At present, we have a one-man board and the worry is that this is not letting the club flourish," he said.
Kilmarnock have not won a Scottish Premier League game in 2009 and will be leapfrogged by bottom club Falkirk if they lose to the Bairns on Saturday.
Johnston recently admitted Killie could go out of business if relegated.
Genuine fan representation would be of real benefit to Killie and a strong cross-section of skills exists within this group

And this has led to the uniting of fans groups under one banner for what is being billed as the first time in Killie's 140-year history.
The new grouping, which includes Kilmarnock Trust, Kilmarnock Supporters Association, Young Killie and Killie Disabled, will meet at the Grand Hall to discuss the future of Scotland's oldest professional football club.
"It now looks like change is vital for our future," said Millar, who thinks there is a wealth of talent and resources not being tapped by the Killie chairman.
"Ultimately, genuine fan representation would be of real benefit to Killie and a strong cross-section of skills exists within this group. We believe that the current set-up prohibits the progress of the club."
"The absolutely crucial thing for all of us is that we want every Kilmarnock fan to back the team and get right behind them in these difficult times.
"The ultimate aim of the group has to be to show that we are a positive, vibrant community club with a strong, vociferous support and a bright future.
"We want to make Killie an attractive proposition for any potential investors in the club and to help take Killie forward as one of Scotland's top clubs."
