Kilmarnock have signed midfielder Willie Gibson from First Division Queen of the South. But the 22-year-old will not move to Rugby Park until 1 March so he can aid the Doonhamers' Scottish Cup bid.
No fee was disclosed but the deal will see Stephen Murray and Jamie Adams go the other way on loan.
Tricky winger Gibson has come through the ranks at Palmerston Park to become a first-team regular but he is yet to score this season.
