Veteran defender Jeff Kenna has left Kidderminster Harriers to take up his first managerial post.
The 37-year-old former Republic of Ireland international will take charge at Eircom Premier Division strugglers Galway United.
"Jeff has been brilliant for me and the football club," Harriers manager Mark Yates told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"He's won the Premier League, but has come down and put in a really good shift for us."
During his time at Aggborough, the former Blackburn, Birmingham and Derby defender made 71 appearances in which he scored two goals.
Among his highlights was appearing in last season's FA Trophy final in which Harriers were beaten 3-2 by Stevenage Borough.
By playing in that game, Kenna became the first player to appear at both the old and the new Wembley Stadiums.
His first match in charge of his new team will be on Friday evening when Galway United will entertain Bray Wanderers.
