Yates anger at late postponement
Kidderminster Harriers manager Mark Yates
Mark Yates was disppointed with the way Sunday's game at Crawley was called off
Kidderminster boss Mark Yates says he is disappointed with the way Sunday's game at Crawley was called off.

The Blue Square Premier clash was due to be played on Sunday but was postponed two hours before kick off because part of the pitch was frozen.

Yates told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "We were 10 minutes from the ground at a service station and had no inclination that the game was in doubt.

"We just felt we should have been consulted over the decision."

The Harriers boss added: "By the time we left, they were having a full practice match on the pitch and the area of concern was absolutely fine.

"It's not as if we're an hour down the road and our fans are just waiting on a phone call.

"Our supporters, like the players, left Aggbrough at half eight, quarter to nine and it was pretty disappointing the way it ended out."
