One in and one out for Harriers
Kidderminster Harriers manager Mark Yates

Kidderminster Harriers have signed former Hereford defender Alex Jeannin from Oxford while striker Justin Richards has moved the other way.

The 30-year-old French left-back will be on loan at Aggrough until the end of the season.

27-year-old Richards, who joined Harriers from Peterbrough in the summer, has started 25 games for the club this season, scoring seven goals.

Jeannin will be in Harriers' squad to face Droylsden on Saturday.

And the Frenchman says he is happy to be at the club: "There are some good, experienced players here and I hope I can add to that over the next three months."

Harriers boss Mark Yates explained why Richards was allowed to move in the other direction.

"After going out of the FA Trophy we just felt that we needed to freshen up the squad a little bit and players coming in means that one or two need to go out.

"There has been a little bit of interest in Justin and he's not been playing a lot here lately so it's a deal that suits everyone," Yates added.
