| Kidderminster Harriers have signed Shrewsbury defender Gavin Cowan in a one-month loan deal. The German-born 25-year-old began his career with Braintree Town before moving to Canvey Island in 2003. Following a loan spell with Nuneaton Borough, Cowan joined the Shrews at the start of last season. The centre-half has struggled to keep a starting place at Gay Meadow and boss Gary Peters is keen for him to play more first team football.
